There is no doubt that I honestly think that Ciara really needs to deeply find a better connection with her songs and her albums. That honestly was the reason why her last album, Fantasy Ride was a absolutely huge dissapointment. For what she tried to put toward the record, she had a lot of bagge she couldn't deliver from, not only with songs that weren't on the final product to lackluster material to make all her own. For her latest, Ride from her upcoming record called Basic Instinct, she feels like she is trying to get her rhythm going back to basics for her sound. Unfortunately, I really didn't feel the connection at all. It was absolutely a less than impressive song. Hopefully, Ciara can reclaim what she wasn't able to score the last time around. Hopefully when and if Basic Instinct comes around, she'll have something bigger than just a ride.

the song is dope
much better than anything from her fantasy ride.
